Startup 101: Hacking the Market for Startup Success

Startups usually nail their technology, but fail because they can’t get traction with customers and investors. The root cause is simple: they don’t hack their market with the same elegance as their technology.

This lively event will introduce new entrepreneurs to essential ideas and insights about customers and markets; look at some of great market hacks; and demonstrate simple but powerful tools that drive startup success.

We’ll wrap up with conversation and Q & A with Jaime Levy (author and expert in UX and Business Strategy), with an emphasis on the unique challenges of digital products.

Scott Witt, is an engineer/mba who works at the intersection of markets and technology. He’s a serial entrepreneur, and senior vice president at UDI, a Pasadena tech firm.
