Los Angeles is a city filled with goodwill and optimism which fuels independent, community-based initiatives that attempt to move the city forward. However, because these initiatives are often not connected to each other, most teams end up duplicating efforts or repeating past mistakes.
ANTIFRAGILE LA is Impact Hub Los Angeles' attempt to reveal chronic problems, promote best practices and create institutional knowledge that new initiatives can leverage. Inspired by theGoldhirsh Foundation's, "LA2050 Vision for a Successful Los Angeles" report, Impact Hub LA is launching a city-wide survey to capture data on what it's really like to launch a community-based initiative in this city.
Join us for evening to discuss the survey findings and hear from a panel of experts about how to launch and maintain a successful initiative in Los Angeles.
This public forum is made possible by Goldhirsh Foundation and co-presented by Thomas and Dorothy Leavey Center for the Study of Los Angeles at Loyola Marymount University and Future of Cities.

Dr. Fernando J. Guerra, Director of the Thomas and Dorothy Leavey Center for the Study of Los Angeles at Loyola Marymount University
