About the Australian Consulate General

The Consulate carries out a number of functions in pursuit of the Australian Government's goals. Its location in Century City provides a gateway to doing business in the United States.

The Consulate's region of jurisdiction covers the States of Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Clark County in Nevada that includes Las Vegas, and southern California below 36 N. An estimated 40,000 Australians reside in the region.

In conjunction with our Embassy in Washington, DC and Consulates in New York,Chicago, Honolulu, Houston and San Francisco, the Consulate works to project Australia's image abroad through a variety of activities and events.
