LA Bioscience Hub will host a real estate tour in the LA Bioscience Corridor to introduce and connect real estate professionals to the opportunities of bioscience investment in the area. In partnership with a local broker we will curate a set of for-sale and for-lease properties to showcase to attendees. The selected sites will be prime opportunities for the development of commercial bioscience office and lab space. In addition to highlighting select properties, we will also incorporate area assets such the anchor institutions Grifols (a multi-national biopharmaceuticals company), USC Health Sciences Campus, and Cal State LA.

We hosted our first Real Estate Tour in October 2014 and met great success with approximately 30 attendees. This year we hope to introduce the Corridor and its potential to another 30 professionals.

ABOUT LA BIOSCIENCE HUB

The LA Bioscience Hub is a non-profit that brings together the public, private and non-profit sectors to support the growth and success of the bioscience industry in the LA Bioscience Corridor. The LA Bioscience Hub is the advocacy, marketing and policy arm of the Los Angeles Bioscience Corridor, focusing on the following initiatives:

The LA Bioscience Hub will guide the Corridor’s transformation, advocate for infrastructure investment, seek grant funding, and generally promote the area as the next great place to grow Los Angeles’ unique bioscience cluster.

LA Bioscience Hub is helping to stimulate the development of flexible office and lab space for bioscience companies emerging from the region’s research and medical facilities. LA Bioscience Hub will work with key partners to facilitate access to capital for the growing firms in the Corridor.

The LA Bioscience Hub will coordinate partners to compete for federal, state and philanthropic funding and connect firms to the workforce they need. Together we can create the space and the place where great ideas have room to grow.
