Repair Café: Repairing Goods, Repairing Land Edition

On Saturday, October 10 at 10am, Zanja Madre will host REPAIR CAFE.

In the spirit of moving toward zero waste and better stewardship of our planet’s resources, the Repair Cafe/Pasadena links local handy people to folks in need of repairs of all kinds: Tinkers and Tailors will offer varied repairs of tools, clothing, jewelry, worm bins, appliances, and electronics. The Repair Cafe is inspired by the philosophy of a Sharing Economy; sharing time, skills and talents to build a more vibrant local community, one repair at a time."

At 12:30 there will be a free presentation on “Land Repair” by The Shed’s local Farmer in Residence Rishi Kumar of the Growing Home. How can you care for the land in this time of drought? Learn first-hand techniques and ideas from our FREE training on how to create maintain and ensure our gardens are resilient.
